JSC "Commercial seaport of Sochi":
“Commercial seaport of Sochi” JSC is an enterprise, aim of which is to develop regular passenger and cruise shipping on the Black sea coast of Russia.
To achieve this goal the staff of the company provides 24-hour service for all types of vessels and yachts as well as a range of relevant services for the crew and the passengers.
The seaport is open all year round for vessels of any country. The port also hosts Border Service, Customs and Migration Service offices.
“Inflot Sochi” company is the core ship agent for Russian and foreign vessels in the seaport.
The distance from the seaport to the Sochi international airport is 35 km, to the railway station – 1 km. The public transport is represented by buses and shuttles.
Passenger services are provided in the international terminal of the port.
2 berths with the total length of 330 meters are capable of accepting passenger vessels up to 220 meters long with the draught up to 8.5 meters.
The capacity of the international terminal is up to 350 passengers per hour.
The terminal also hosts cafe “Pelican” and a duty free shop. It also hosts the offices of Border Service, Customs and Migration Service.
Vessels of Russia, the Ukraine, Turkey, Bahamas, Greece, Malta, France, Panama and UK call at Sochi every year.
The cruise liners of world-known companies also call at Sochi during annual cruise seasons. The port provides all kinds of water entertainment: boat trips on yachts and m/v “Dagomys”, “Gagra”, “Mikhail Svetlov”.
The port also has a yacht marina.
Cargo and Ro-Ro berths work on a 24-hour basis in Sochi port.
Cargo berth #13 is aimed at discharging bulk and general cargo. It can accept vessels up to 135 meters long with a draught up to 6 meters. The berth is equipped with 2 portal cranes with a capacity of 10 tons each.
Ro-Ro berth #14 is made for Ro-Ro ferries. It is included into Ro-Ro terminal of the port which is equipped as a checkpoint for motor transport crossing Russian national border
